OK, I've been doing weight watchers for awhile and lost 13 pounds on the plan. (whew) I'm ready to lose about 9 more and last night was my first time working out in like TWO years. I worked out with a trainer. I am SO sore and was hanging on the FH this morning as I walked down the subway steps cause my legs were so sore. Anyone else starting a new workout? If so, please give me some uplifting progress stories!!! I would love to hear some great motivational stories Thanks!!!

Congrats to you!
I have worked with a personal trainer and it is awesome. You are going to be in the best shape of your life.
who/where do you go? I may start working with one again, but would like to try someone new.

did you do a cool down after you work out...some ppl remember to stretch before but forget to also do stretches after you work out, it makes a big difference. Dont worry its temporary, your body will start getting used to it

I went to the New York Sports Club and my trainer is a guy and he really showed no sympathy. I was like whimpering at the end. LOL. But he's nice and wrote an email to check in with me. They have the bridal workout at the NYSC. I go to the NYSC on the upper east side in the city, two blocks away from my apartment. I was scared cause i am SUCH a Spazz. Walking in to things, tripping etc. So the gym is so intimidating to me.... LOL

I kinda ran out of the gym after the workout. I was jelly legs and totally embarassed BUT I am committed to working out now. Not just for the wedding, but to be in good shape and to be healthy! I am def. going to 'cool down' next time... LOL!

yeah you'll see that it helps out alot when you do it, you wont be as sore the next day. But when you're sore it shows that its working so its a good sign

Good luck!! You can do it!
It's funny..I know how you feel. I got a 7-day free trial at the NYHRC and I just started it yesterday. I took this class called 'Knockout Bride' last night and it's the first time I've worked out in so so long. Afterwards, I wasn't even sure I could walk! I spent some time stretching after that, did some weights, and then hit the steam room for a while. It definitely helped me loosen up. I'm totally feeling the burn today, but it's a good feeling because it means that by the time our wedding comes around we'll be hotties!!!

Ask if they have foam rollers...or even better a power plate. Both will reduce delayed onset soreness - orrrr, put more simply, it won't hurt as much to move the next 2 days after :)

Yayyy for you! It takes a lot to take that first step and start working out again (believe me, I know)! It helps to have good motivation though....my sisters (my bridesmaids) are working out with me to help keep me on track......I just started this week (after I ordered my dress, haha)
