Had my make-up trial today!!!!!!

I went to Jackie of I Make You Up (she's a vendor on this board and she works out of the Sophisticated Lady salon in Massapequa).

I am so happy right now!!!! Jackie is awesome!! My mom and I booked her on the spot for the wedding!! My face looks flawless - not a small feat - thanks to the mega-stress at work I've been breaking out all week!

She really took the time to ask about the wedding - my dress color, my mom's dress colors, the colors in the bouquet, what I was doing with my hair and matched everything perfectly. And it got the ultimate seal of approval - FI is a simple guy, so I thought he was going to not like all the makeup. Well, he loved it!!!!!! His mouth was

Debbie - I had my Dad take pics of my mom and I. I'm sitting here waiting for him to email them to me so I can post. Knowing him - it could take a few days

Sept20 - Not sure if she does airbrushing. She didn't mention it. I would say the look is a mix of glam and natural. The eyes are glamish - smokey grey liner and shadow. My cheeks are pretty natural and my lips are a plumish sort of color.

Still waiting on my dad . . . . . .
(men just don't understand the urgency of these things

I actually called for a facial originally (that part was also awesome). Her trial is normally $30 (she applies to the wedding day when/if you book). She is running a special that for $60 you get a facial and your make-up trial.
