Had my Rehearsal Last night!!! (long vent too!)

I can't believe I am less than 2 days away .

So it started out bad because we told everyone to be there at 6:30 (actually starts at 7) and we didn't make it till 7. It was my moms fault because we were at the restaurant setting up for the dinner and my mom didn't show up with most of the stuff till 6:30!!! I should have know better because my mom is late to everything. We finally get to the church and everyone is not happy. My brother makes a snotty comment to me how you don't keep people waiting for 45 min. I said first of all it was 30 min and it wasn't my fault. He said well we all got here at 6:15 and I said well that is your fault you got here 15 min early not mine!!!!

Then my wonderful FMIL (the women who wanted nothing to do with my wedding 2 months ago) now is up my *ss about everything!!! She had to come to the back where we were all lined up and give her 2 cents there. Which would be fine if she knew how to stop and say it right but she doesn't she just keeps going on and on till you do it her way. Well at this point I have had it and go outside to cry my eyes out!! I couldn't take it anymore!!
I thought this was suppose to be the best time of my life?? I hate every minute of it so far...this better be worth it!! Otherwise future brides get your deposit back and have a VERY small wedding in Las vegas, carribean or wherever! I have never had so much aggrevation in my life and been so upset! I cry everyday! Why don't people understand this is about me and FH not about them!

So anyway we went back to the restaurant, CASA DI PASTA(bellmore), and I have to say I highly reccomend this place. Everything was great and everyone kept saying how great the food was. I am already keeping it in mind for when I have a baby. It was very reasonably priced and they have private room.

ohhh, I am SO sorry!

You are absolutely right, this is about YOU and FH. As much as parents have a vision for how their child's wedding will be, they don't have the right to railroad their 'adult' children with their opinions. I would have cried too, but keep reminding yourself that it IS all about YOU and FH and anyone who can't respect that can go @%$&* off and (@#%*^ themselves! The wedding is all planned and in happening in two days...you don't like it? Don't come!

Always remember a wedding is a huge deal with so much to do and plan! Sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. Try to forget about the lateness, things like that DO happen! Your brother should have tried to be more understanding!!! (Most people would have)Also remember it is NOT FMILS wedding! Try to relax now and have a wonderful wedding! It is now time to enjoy!

i can 100% relate to you. there have been soooooooo many times in the last few weeks that i really and truly wish we had just eloped. it is so stressful at times i can't take it!! everyone has an opinion about everything, whether or not you ask for it.

hang in there - it will all be worth it!!!!!!!! i think everyone's stressed out so the smallest thing becomes a big deal. just remember it's about you and FI and no one else.

Thanks girls I feel alot better!!! I will try my best to stay calm.

I am calm now even though my mom was suppose to be over my house at 11am today to help me with things. But I am as cool as a cucumber!!!

I know it is easier said than done...but try to ignore everyone and focus on your happy day.
