Was any one else totally overwhelmed at their shower? It was a lot of fun and I got tons of great things but it was so hard talking to everyone (there were 71 people there) and I felt I couldn't relax. And everyone tells me its the warm up to the wedding...aah!!! At least then I get to share the pressure with someone!
I was totally overwhelmed. Like you, I had a lot of people there (around 65) - some I was meeting for the first time.
It wasn't a surprise - but I was still overwhelmed / couldn't relax. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.
I had my shower last week and I was totally overwhelmed too. I had many friends that were there that i've not seen for in along time. I got so much great gifts and had so much fun but I'm so happy it's over. Now I just have to prepare myself for the wedding when everyone's attention will be on both of us.
I felt the same way and I said
to my fiance 'I'm so glad the
both of us have to socialize
at the wedding.' I need him,
it's so overwhelming!
