Had my shower Saturday!

It was a total surprise!! I thought I was going to my best friend's house for her son's 1st birthday party. I made my FH carry this 30 pound tricycle on the Staten Island ferryall the way to her house. And he knew it wasn't a birthday party! My sister flew in from California and so many of my friends and relatives were there even though most live way out on LI. All of my bridal party was there, except my oldest friend who was in the hospital giving birth to her first son!! How great is that? They decided to do it early (my wedding is in March) so I would be surprised. It worked. I felt such a sense of peace and gratitude having all of the people I love so much together. How corny does that sound? My cousin gave me the greatest gift- all of the thank you cards addressed and stamped. Now I just have to write them out...

Congrats! I'm glad you had such a nice shower. I hope you got a lot of nice gifts.

Thanks ladies. I did get a ton of stuff from my registry. I couldn't believe how generous people were. My FH was shocked by the number of gifts. Only a few returns. Any input on returns at Macy's without a reciept?
