Had my shower...(vent)

So my shower was yesterday. I kind of had an idea that it would be because all of my FIL's were in visiting for a reunion. My Bp and Mom worked really hard to put the whole thing together or me and I really appreciate it. I got a lot of really nice stuff.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed that a bunch of people didn't show. Specifically a couple of people that my FH has know for a really long time. They had a bit of a falling out a year ago, but have been trying to make things better recently and they didn't come. To be honest I'm not really disappointed - I'm pissed off. I went to all of their showers and even through pone of them an e-party and they couldn't get to my shower? Anyway, I'm trying to concentrate in the good, but I needed to vent a little. Thanks girls!

Well at least you can say that you have tried.... now it's on their heads.

Thats too bad. Some things like that can just get under your skin. You will only remember how wonderful your shower was, not 2 people that pissed you off.

Oh...i know how you feel. For my shower I had some friends not show up that kind of shocked me. Not only that but when I saw them they didn't even say why they didn't go and sent no gift either.....which is fine for some of htem but for the ones that are married and for the ones i went to their showers it really pissed me off.

But people have said you learn a lot about people when you get married...I sure am. And as my Dad said you can't buy some people class...so screw them...
