Had my tasting yesterday at HWC!!!!
It was to DIE FOR!!!! There wasnt one thing we didnt like....there were only things that outshone everything else!!! I never had better chilean seabass or see such comforting and satifsying - not to meantion creative chicken in my life! I was over the moon - and the drinks kept coming and our Best Man who is quite the liquor conisour - said his martinis were perfect! I wasnt rushed out of there and there were so many wonderful surprises!! I tasted something i didnt even request and i LOOOOVED IT!!!
I am so happy i chose this place...I really am. Barbara is a blessing. I am really being spolied - such great surprises to HWC brides and grooms - and i wont say what they are bc there are 3 others on here and I want them to be surprised too!!
And shes even helping me do things!!!! Shes more of a Bridesmaid than some of my girls are! She really makes me feel safe and calm, and is quite a comfort...I am going to miss her after Im married!
I just couldnt decide on a cake...Ill try and post pics later after dad scans them, im starting to get tired...im trying to fuse 2 together - which i kno wont work, but Jason and I cant agree!
But other than that I have quite a bangin menu. I am so happy and just elated that I am having what I have - I cant believe I have these options..
and now it feels so real! It really does! I ate my food and loved it!
And the funniest thing is...i saw HWC in a wedding sites and services mag that I picked up in Feb of 06, a month before i got engaged. I remember reading about it, and then a former coworker telling me about it, that she knew barbara and it was just built around the corner from her. FH and I checked it out and I checked out their menu and i picked everything out I wanted...and funny thing is its bascially what Jason and I picked out even before we saw it! It was just so tasty..and comforting...nothing weird or unpronouncable!
I just cant get over that parmeasan crusted chilean seabass..it was the most tender, juicy prepared fish i ever had..it was perfect...even the sides were perfect! And the horseradish crusted chicken...it wasnt heavy horseradish..it was sooo comforting. and soooooo tasty......and it had this gorganzola sauce.....im getting hungry just tallking about it....it was like nothing i ever ate before, but am dying to eat again!
Perfection! and that makes me feel sooo good!![]()
