And it went well. Got to see my little alien. I swear, I got all choked up. He/She was waving at us and everything seemed to look ok. We have our review with the dr. on Wed. so I will know for sure, but it was reassuring to see the chambers of the heart pumping away! I had nightmares all night that the baby would be deformed or something. Phew!

Was this your Level 2? I loved mine and hubby and I were so amazed as the tech pointed out the heart, kidneys, stomach, spine, etc. Do you have any pictures to post?

I have some pics that I will post this week. I brought them to work and forgot them there. I don't think it was a 'level2' just a regular 19 week ultra. I saw the chambers of the heart and the blood pumping thru the placenta and stuff though. It was cool, but creepy just the same. Baby looks like C3PO from star wars in one of them!

No, we are holding out until the end to find out the sex.

Teri- we had the u/s at a radiologist I guess. They do u/s, mri, bone scans stuff like that. I promise I will scan pics when I get off my behind to do it.

Update- saw the dr. yesterday and she said the AFP came back normal, and the u/s looked good. She said baby measured a week older than they thought, but they are keeping the due date the same b/c it is only a week difference. Heard heartbeat again, what a relief that is every month!
