Needed one for the trial today.. Jim's grandmother threw my last one away. She saw the box it came in.. it was so light and didnt seem to have anything in it but 'filling' so she trashed it.
*Sigh*
THIS is why I dont pay $$$$$ for veils!
Ran over to Tri-county and picked one up for $30 and still may go buy another on ebay. My dress is AWFULLY white for 'ivory'.
Going to take the veil with me tomorrow to see the dress for a comparison.

No way!! She threw it out??? Jeez!
I got my veil from Ebay (finally!) and it's IVORY. My dress, too, is a little white for ivory and I think the veil will be too dark for my dress. Thank goodness I spent less than $20 with S&H.

I had the opposite problem... I bought my veil from ebay and it was too white for my non-white dress.... so i ordered a diamond white veil.....and i got it yesterday - it's beautiful!! good luck

Yep.. out with the trash.
Jim was getting a little ticked about it.. me.. I just shrugged.. that's WHY we buy from Ebay right?
I can't IMAGINE how nuts I'd have been if it was a $400 veil!!!

That is SO funny! Just picked mine up from Patchogue Floral yesterday--think it came to $40 or something. I've been walking around with in on my head for two days now!

oh my!! how funny~ lukily we didn't throw away anything too important of ours (well, so far - but its all already been used which would be ok!)
