Had to give up my e-ring

To the jeweler to be rhodiumed (sp). I won't have it back for 10 days and I feel naked without it. This can only mean one thing, my day is fast approaching......26 days

Sorry about the e-ring. I would feel naked without it too. Congrats on the 26 days though.

What does that mean? I've never heard of it before. Does it protect it or something? Thanks

It makes it all shiny and new, they buff it to get scratches out as well.

when i had mine done they did it right in front of me they gave it back to me like 5 minutes later.

it is rohdium dipped and polished they do this to white gold and platinum.

yeah i felt like that too! I've lost weight and was trying to not wear it cause it was almost falling off way too often! I got the ring guard put in for now. I felt weird and like always hide my hand so that no one would ask me where it was! It's totally a weird feeling!

I had this done and it took one day. Dropped off on Monday and picked up Tuesday night. Sorry its taking so long!!!

i had it done right in front of me it took about 10min but my ring never left my sight

They did it while I was standing there, it only took a few minutes.

i would also examine the diamond when you pick up the ring just to make sure it is the same diamond you never know. so bring your certification to verify that.

When I had mine sized they had to send it back to Ritani because when they sized it they would ruin the stamp that says 'Ritani', it needed to be re-stamped after it was sized... Maybe she has something like that with hers as well!

So I know how you feel because I didn't have mine for 2 weeks when they sized it!!

Yeah, my jewelers too. They actually request they you follor them through the store! Did they take the stone too? Or did you leave the stone with you? (this way you know they don't switch your stone for a lesser value)

When we had my mothers wedding ring soldered, dipped and buffed, it did not lose the inscription on the inside. I would be way too nervous to leave anything of great value - monetray or sentimental with someone for more than a few moments. Be careful.

I saw the engraved number on my diamond and will look at it again when I go to pick it up to make sure no switcharoo was done
