So there was a crazy debacle (see Grandma loves to invite people w/o permission. ) with my g'ma complaining that I was not inviting my cousins with their g/f's and then she invites the g/fs anyway (note - no one's invited with a guest - unless Married, Engaged, or living with a person) ... so I come to find out that my one cousin who's been going 'steady' with his g/f has actually been broken up with her for over 3 months... the little SNOT actually had the nerve to call me up and complain about the fact that he couldn't bring his 'steady' g/f... when in fact - it's not the same girl!!!!
The little pimp wanted to bring his flavor of the month! GRRR!!!!
So, now, I so have the cojones to call up my g'ma and drop the bomb on her favorite little grandson!!! But... I'm gonna be the good granddaughter and wait till the it's mentioned again... then the mierda will hit the fan and all of the 'ammunition' will be fired...
I'm sorry - I had to share - just to get it off my chest and not go too crazy!!!

WOW. That does take nerves, to think that it's ok to bring just anyone to your wedding. I mean, they are for partying, but really they exist to celebrate with the couple getting married, not just a reason for someone to take someone out for free!!!!

Please let us know how it goes with the family when you drop the bomb!!!

Oh My God!!!! At my sister's wedding we 'had' to invite this family now on their RSVP we put 3 on the # of people to attend knowing that they would choose the mom and 2 daughters (father and brother rarely go, daughters are 25 & 18-known them for a while but for the last few years were not close anymore) and then they have the nerve to invite one of the daughter's boyfriend (I assume it was her current boyfriend or as you put it flavor of the month) which we don't even know. My sister and BIL did not want unknowns at the party and all of a sudden there is this guy sitting at their table. Have no idea when he came in and I hope that they did not serve him. Had we wanted 4 we would have put 4 on their RSVP. And then they had the nerve to give as their gift $75.

People are truly unbelievable.
