FFIL gave me a list of people from his office to invite

list includes 'Mr. & Mrs. Bob G.'

i text him today saying 'hey there, Mr. & Mrs. Bob G. haven't responded yet, can you find out if they are coming?'

response: 'who is mr. & mrs. bob G?'

OMFG

at least they didnt respond that they were coming!!!

My dad gave me a list...so i sent the invites. When we got a response back (that was a yes) i called him to let him know they would be coming. He flipped out saying they were not invited! i had to scan in the handwritten list his wife gave me so that he screamed at her instead of me

My MIL gave me a list of names and she gave me like 3 peoples names wrong and an addresss wrong. THen asks if I have extras to resend I need some heavy liquor from this whole invitation process.

omg THIS exactly!! Plus FMIL's cousin called to RSVP to my shower and told my MOH that her name was spelled wrong on the invite (MOH forgot what she said it should be). So I told FMIL what spelling I had and she goes 'No, it's not wrong, that's how you spell it'

Well, that's not how she spells it, apparently!

I cant tell you how many times DH did this because they all call each other nicknames at work. He would come home and be like

Him: 'we have to invite so and so'
Me: okay what are their last names and addresses ?'
HIM: I don't know ill ask'

Two Weeks Later
Me: did you find out the names and addresses?'
Him: No I just took some invites to work and handed them out'


Really because I also have a seating chard and thank you cards

I didn't send out three thank yous because he never got the address (they didn't write a return address on the RSVP or just told DH they were coming) and one I still didn't get a last name! but they came and now he doesn't work on the same job as them so they have been sitting here still.
