yeah, so we have a fireplace in our living room that was closed off and the opening was filled with a decorative mosaic and an iron fp cover.

the mosaic was cracked and chipping at the top.

so we ripped it out of the wall.

we plan on making our own mosaic.

Laurie, now would be a good time to come up with an easy design for me. thanks.

also, where can I find small tiles to make a mosaic. thanks again.

Home Depot. Some you should use from chicken wire, they come in sheets....
the fun ones you are going to break you can also get at the depot of home. they always have a section of tiles called OOPS

tiles people custom ordered and did not like or high end tiles with small inperfections
