Just a suggestion my mom just gave me. Do not wash your hair the day of your wedding because clean hair is hard to work with and easier to frizz. If you let the natural oils accumulate for a day, it is easier to style.

Thought that may help.

I've totally thought of this...but there's one problem. This may sound completely bizarre but...I can't wake up without washing my hair! I never feel fully awake unless I have water running all over my head haha!

Not like I'll need help staying awake on my wedding day!!

But seriously, I can't go a day without washing my hair. It's so darn straight and never looks right unless I've washed and blown it dry. Otherwise, it's just flat and blah.

Count your blessings you have straight hair. Mine is so curly and so dry I CAN'T wash it everyday. I made that mistake for the prom and my hair was so frizzed the woman didn't know what to do.

That makes sense. But if you are going to have your hair done by a professional dont they need to wash your hair before they style it?

Only if you have a lot of product in it.

Re: Hair

i get my hair put up alot and my hairstylist ALWAYS tells me not to wash my hair that day - even why i dye it because it just takes better when it has all teh natural oils in it - if your hair is too soft it doesnt stay up as good

Actually, you shouldn't wash your hair the day of. You should wash it the day before and yes, put product in your hair. They use rollers and curling irons and whatnot and the product in the hair helps to keep the shape of the curls.
