Hair

So I am totally lost with where to go for my hair for my wedding day. I am soooo picky with my hair and would prolly have like 5 hair trials with 5 different places before choosing one, but I can't afford to do that. So I need to hit it the first time so not to waste money on trials. I would like a place that isn't too far from The Fox Hollow. Or someone to come to me to do it- either is fine. Anyone have comments about Salon Blue in mineola? Maximus? Elizabeth Arden? And any place else I should know about? I really can't ahve my hair looking prommy and super curly- its just not me. And Im NOT wearing a tiara so i need someone who can work with that. And I need to be able to take off my veil and slip in a silk flower with no problems after the cocktail hour. Any suggestions?

first trial was with Salon Blue, and I did not like the way my hair came out. Nothing like the picture I showed her. Mine was pulled back to tight and the curls were very loose.

I booked with Maximus in Westbury. The trial went better, but I want to change the style to an updo, so I am thinking about going back to try that.
I am just not crazy about the barrel curls that seem to be everywhere.

I have sleeves on my dress now, so I can go with a soft updo, not something pulled back so tightly or towering on the top of my head. I am also wearing my veil during the reception, so the back of the hair does not need to be such a fancy 'do.

im going to use Mia .... I had the same requirements and she understood why I meant 'non-bridal hair' and was really good. I think I am going to change the style but I have great confidence that she will be able to do whatever I ask for on the day of with no prep (i cannot say this about the other place I went)
