Ok, so I need help. I'm planning on wearing my hair half up/half down and curled. I'll have my veil on a comb, no tiara.
Do I need a clip or anything for my hair to be held half up? Or do they just use rubberbands or something?

I think they use pins and bands. The tiaras are usually more decorative, not functional.

I know that tiaras are decorative, but I just meant that you might be able to see whatever is holding my hair half up b/c there won't be anything blocking it...am I making sense?

I don't think so if it's done right...most of the time the tiara is in front of where the hair is being held up, so it's not covering it then either.
ETA: is your concern about it being seen from the front or back?

They should be able to use pins and hide it very easily.

My hair is going to be half and half as well... there were millons of pins....all of which were NOT seen!
