Hair and Make-up Blues

Why don't any of the ones you really want call or e-mail you back?!!!

I've called several of them twice and waiting a week in between.

It's so frustrating and makes me wonder if they're that busy and don't care about my business - do I really want them to begin with...

I had the same problem with a couple of popular ones. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and the money and we're going to a salon instead.

I had the same problem with a few vendors as well...I know it sux but sometimes persistance pays off. It depends on the vendor. I finally got through to a vendor i had been trying to contact for about a month and scheduled a trial with her...sometimes, you just have to keep calling. I know...it's annoying but hang in there

I had the same issue with my makeup lady. I kept calling and calling and finally she returned my phone call.

I had the same issue with my person - but it really was worth it in the end. I always wonder if these MU artists have a job during the week and then do trials and wedding makeup/hair at other times.

My makeup person is about to give birth so I really understood the delay in getting back to me. But I would still highly recommend her.

that s t i n k s -- I have a makup trial tomorrow with Beth from beauty by beth. I'll let you know how it goes. They also do hair.. It doesn't hurt to send her an email for a trial. They come to your house for trials, which is great.

I had a lot of difficulty with places reguarding makeup.

I found this with a few popular vendors as well. IMO, if you don't call me back within a week, you're not going to give me enough attention when I need it and so you'r eout. Kholoud's is a vendor on here and Kacey was very prompt in getting back to me. They do hair and makeup. I have a trial this Saturday. I am using a makeup artist who's not a vendor on here. FM me if you want details.

I am the type of person to give the people the benefit of doubt...Don't get to upset yet-

Try understanding that there are a gazillion people calling the vendors (I mean look how manay brides are just on LIW- there are even more out there)- They are only one person (if they are running there own business) Just a Fruit for Thought....Evenutally they will call you...Keep your head up
