i had a trial the other day and got quoted $90 for my bridesmaids for hair and fifty for makeup. is it fair to ask my bridal party to pay that amount for hair? my ceremony is early (1030) and they would need to be ready by 9-930. no salon is opened that early and i know that they would have to get their hair done at my house, but i feel bad. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Re: hair and makeup
Personally I felt bad asking my BMaids... I will let them know its available, but unless they tell me they would like to get the hair done, I am not going to ask them.. They are already paying so much money for my wedding.. shower gifts, batchelorette, bm dress, wedding...... I felt horrible asking for more!

I am also going to make it available for them, but I am not going to require them to get it done.

Re: hair and makeup
Let them choose- one wedding I was in the bride was really pissed I didn't use their expensive hair person, when my mom did an even better job for me for free. I thought it was a dumb thing to argue about.

My hair/makeup people will be about the same. I am not demanding it be done but it will be there for them. All of them have decided to have it done so far. This secretly makes me very happy

I am not making my BM get their hair or makeup done... I think its a lot to ask them to do that in general...
