Hair and makeup

I'd like to hear who loved their hair and makeup people and who they are!! I'm new to NY and not familiar with those who are referred by other brides. I'd love a more sophisticated, glamourous look (as opposed to a really light natural look.) My wedding is in the evening, so I'd like that special drama!! Any suggestions??? Thanks!!

I'm using Maureen Pedala in NYC for makeup. I'm not sure who I'll be using for hair yet, but I have heard that her sister, Claudia Pedala does hair as well. I've also heard great things about Denise Venti. Here are their websites: Maureen Pedala and Denise Venti

I used The Hair Genie. I booked her yesterday. I just loved her work. She's a vendor on here.

I emailed Denise the other day...My wedding day is her 1st anniversary and she'll be out of town Taralei is also booked on my day

and Taralei for hair.

I loved them both! Not only is their work incredible so are they.
