Hair and Makeup

I have a question. I live in queens and I am looking for hair and makeup. But I want them to come to my house the day of the wedding, it would be too much for me to go there it's just easier too. Does anyone know of a good place that does one or both??? I feel like I should have gone on trials already. I am so confused and I don't know where to start looking.

I used Oskana and Jen the hair genie! They come to your house and they both do amazing work! love them both! there are pics in my album

Same here. photos in album. I believe there is a 3 person minimum, but you can do your MOH and your mom if no one else. I love them!

I'm in Queens too. I am using Erica from Makeup by Erica. She comes to your house for both the trial and the day of. For hair I am using a girl named Dia. She lives in Kissena Park. The trial was at her house, but she cames to you on the day of. I recommend both of them!

She lives in Queens, and will come to you the day of - she's awesome and very reasonable! And I totally don't mean to sound stupid, but she does amazing work on girls of alllll races. (A lot of people assume that since she's Asian she only knows how to work with Asian faces/features - but she does amazing work on everyone!)

I used the MARLENE KURLAND MAKEUP AGENCY. They are absed out of Cali i believe but have offices elsewhere nationwide. Artists work through the company but also do freelance on their own. They were reasonable.

I second Sachiko. She can handle all ethnicities. Here's a review with Caucasian woman who hired her. She also told me she's worked a number of national-scale retailers like Target.
