Hair and Makeup

Is everyone going to the top wedding stylists? I see a lot of names of the LIW vendors floating around and was wondering if anyone is going to their salon instead.

All of my girls are from OOT and need to get their hair and makeup done in LI. I think it would be easier and much less expensive for us all to go to a salon that morning.

I am currently thinking of Cactus in Huntington. Any ideas?

I think we're going to do one of the local salons....I'm OOT as are ALL of my girls (except FH's sister and she's in college, so she's not really in town anyway any more), but my mom said her salon in Wading River can do weddings and has a couple of younger stylists who do updos, so we may just go with that.....one of my mom's friends' daughters brought her girls to another local salon for her wedding in August, so we may check that out too.....

I think a salon is the way to go for us! Get more done at once at least...

the only reason im having someone come to my house is b/c Im getting married at noon and they are coming to me at 5:30 AM

The salon wanted a lot more $ to em to go there early.

me & my MOH both go to the same girl to get our hair done, so we're going to use her for the day of the wedding. considering it's only me, her my sister and my mom. why go elsewhere ya know

oh and b/c we've both been going to her for so long she doesn't mind coming to my house at the a$$ crack of dawn! BONUS!!!

I'm getting my hair done (and possibly the BM) at my salon in Oceanside.
My Mary Kay rep is coming to my house for the makeup.
