Hair and Makeup

Hair and Makeup

I am starting to look into hair and makeup for my wedding and just had a few questions...

When you get your hair and makeup done, does the person leave as soon as they are done or do they stay until after the ceremony or pictures to touch you up and make sure you still look good?

What happens if your hair or makeup gets messed up during the wedding?

Thanks for any advice!!!

I have looked into a couple of packages so far with hair and makeup and some of the places have more expensive packages where they stay the whole night and continue to touch up your make up and hair. I looked at a make up one and it was like 6-700$

I am a makeup artist and I would always give my brides a sponge dipped in their powder and a sample lipstick/lip gloss so you can do the touch up yourself. I really don't think it is worth it to pay a makeup artist/hairstylist to stay with you for a few hours. I am sure if you have a really good makeup artist and hairstylist that your look and haistyle will last all night

THIS. My makeup aristist is giving me a sponge dipped in the powder that she will be using on me. I will also only have the hair stylist do my hair then leave. I have a hair trial on Saturday and hopefully I'll love it and book her!

Definitely this - I didn't know that they did that with a sponge, but I've always received a sample of whatever the mu artist put on my lips so I could reapply throughout the night.
