So the hair salon I go to for regular haircuts (which, in my opinion, are normally priced) specializes in bridal hair and makeup as well. I just found out that their wedding day services are $300 for the bride for both hair and makeup together, and $175 for 'maids and attendants for hair and makeup together. That seems like a lot to me, but I haven't really priced anything out yet because I have a lot of time before my wedding. Does anyone know if that's a normal price for bridal beauty? Does anyone have any recommendation for good vendors with good prices? TIA!

For my wedding, it will cost me $215 for hair and makeup (both are coming to my house). For my bridesmaids it will be $145 for hair and makeup. $10 extra if they wanted lashes as well for their makeup.
I've been in 3 weddings (2 sisters and BIL) and I've paid no more than $150 for any of them. HTH

Last wedding I was in ended up costing me $160 (with tax but without tip) for hair and makeup and at the time I wasn't thrilled because I didn't really have it to spend. I would shop around. Personally I think it's a lot but I have not researched it either..maybe that's the going rate. I think I might give my girls the option on the makeup & hair. Basically here is the best rate i found but if you want to save money and do your hair & makeup yourself I completely understand. But we'll see how that goes. =)
