It's expensive, so I am thinking that is their gift. Do you think that is enough?

Re: Hair and makeup and your BP? Are you paying?
That's very generous of you! I've been in several wedding parties and I've always had to pay for hair & makeup myself. Like you said, it IS pretty expensive so it does count as a nice gift. But, I personally, would want my BMs to also have a keepsake however small and inexpensive. The makeup will be washed off and the hair undone by the next day and then, other than the favor (that everyone else got) what do they have as a keepsake of being in my wedding?
If I could afford it, I would pay for their hair & makeup AND get them a little something inexpensive as a keepsake. I can't though, so I am just getting them a small gift.

I am paying for my BP to get their hair and makeup done as well, but that is because I don't trust my future SIL's to do their own hair. They are kind of stuck in the 80's a little bit...

I almost forgot. I am counting that as part of their gift, however I will also probably get them a small piece of jewelry.

I gave them $50 gift certificates towards their hair & makeup so that I could spend the rest of the money on other gifts for them. I got them their jewelry and some other little things.

I couldn't agree more! My FSIL is stuck in the 80's & also going for the tomboy look - if we didn't do her hair & makeuo she would do it at all!

I paid for my BP's hair and makeup. But I also gave them gifts.
I definitely think you can make treating them to their hair and makeup a gift though.

Re: Hair and makeup and your BP? Are you paying?
When I figured it out, it's going be $520 for both hair and make-up for 4 girls ($75 for hair and $55 for makeup). And I guess plus tip. Me is will be $225, plus tip.
For those of you paying or did pay, is that how much you paying or paid?
