Hair and Makeup costs?

How much are you spending on hair and makeup?

I found a hair person who will give me 5 hours for $600, up to 5 girls, and that price includes her travel fees too because she is coming from NYC. If we finish and there is leftover time, she will even come to the ceremony site where we are taking pics and do touchups until her time runs out.

I also found a makeup person, also from NYC, who will charge $325 for the bride and $125 per extra person, but that also includes all travel fees. I think this is pretty pricy, but she is very well known and I am sort of excited!

EDIT - I am actually paying for the other girls to get makeup, because it is just my mom, my sister (still in school so I wouldn't ask her to pay) and my FSIL (to be nice to a future relative!).

M/U 150 and $80 for the bm. If the m/u artist is well know and your bridal party is ok with paying the $125 then go for it. But I think that is pricey for an extra person

Hair =free but I see the average is $150-$200 for the bride and 65-85 for the bm

I do not think you are getting a great deal on the hair.

the prices for hair sound about right. But the prices for make-up is a little high. I think average for make-up would be around $150-$200 for the bride and around $65-$85 for the BM's. Try M*I*A from the **************. A lot brides here used her and her work is amazing!

I think i know who you are talking about and $600 for you and 4 girls is a good price and also if that includes travelling fee's. If its who i am thinking about then its good considering how much she charged just for brides hair.

Everyone is different prices, people in the city do cost more but if you're comfortable with the price then that is all that matters. You're paying for it so you're the only one who has to be ok with the price, not everybody else.
