HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR EVERYONE???

Hey everyone I need a little advice. My wedding is on Sat 6-7-8 and unfortunately is in the morning. Ceremony starts at 11am so what do I do about getting hair and makeup done? I have 6 girls in my bridal party and we wanted to get everything done together, this isn't possible is it?
Any suggestions and what price range am I looking at? Would like to go to salon in Smithtown area, or if someone could come to me???? Now i'm pushing it-right!!!

honestly---for everyone to get ready together, you will have to start hair and make up around 430 or 5am. are you doing pics before the ceremony?

i hired jacqueline nicole for make up---and she needed approx 20-30 min. for each girl. it was myself, 2 girls, 2 moms. she started at about 5:15 am -- and was done by 8am

for hair i hired sarah and bridget rock -- they arrived at 6 am and had to do 6 heads of hair---they were done by about 8am also. photographer arrived -- and we were at our RH by 9 am for pics....and ceremony was at 11:15

if you are not doing pics before--you might be able to get away with starting around 6 am--but you want to give yourself enough time.

i would suggest hiring artists/stylists that will come to you.

I paid $150 for my hair -- and the BMs/Moms paid approx $75-85 for their hair.

As for makeup--i paid for all everyone to have airbrush make up---it usually is $150 for the bride and $80 or 90 for others with JN

I am using Ulta in Levittown i think there may be a store in Commack it is $30 per person and takes about 30 min they have alot of makeup artists so they can do my whole party in 90 min call the store and ask they may open up early ask them ...good luck

Ooh, I didn't even think of doing pics before our ceremony. Our RH is at Thatched Cottage, we were just going to take pics there after the ceremony which is 11-1130 and reception starts at 1230. Now thats a whole new topic, and I didn't solve the first one :o(

Hey date twin!!!

I am in the same dilemma. Morning as well but I am even earlier.. 10:30am!!!

So I am prepping my hair the day before at my stylist (so they are only styling it the morning)

I am having my usual hair stylist come to me & having a makeup artist come as well. TO be honest we are going to have to start at 6am to get everything done.

ugh

At least we can support each other since we are both the early bird club for the day

Where are you doing your ceremony?

What the he- double hockey sticks were we thinking-lol!!!
Glad to know I have my twin around to vent to and that really understands my dilema!!
My church is Christ the King in Commack. My mom's house(meeting place) is in Kings Park. 6am is crazy but only makes sense, this is driving me crazy. I don't even know how I'm wearing my hair, how will yours be?

I know I am going to be in St Francis in Greenlawn.

I will always be a shoulder to vent too...lol

I plan doing hair up hair down (mostly down. with big soft curls. But I haven't make a trial on that though to test.

Re: HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR EVERYONE???

I hired a make up and hair stylist (2 separate people) to come to my house the morning of the wedding so i can get ready in my robe!!

I decided it was somethig i wanted to splurge on ...and so i am paying for both my girls to do the same. Its not cheap but I think it will a nice morning.

Let me know if you want the contact info.
