Hair and Makeup help, please

I am getting married in October and need recommendations for hair and makeup. I need people who are willing to travel, as I cannot stress about getting to a salon that day!

Probably be 5-7 people needing both their hair and makeup done, depending if FMIL and FSIL join us.

I really appreciate it ladies! Stay warm with all this snow!!!

I'm having the same issue.. are you getting married at the RH?

I live in East Meadow and the wedding is at Girogios in Baiting Hollow (about an hour drive)

Im still trying to figure out where i should get ready. Between cost and time, i just dont know.

Jillian (Gorgeous Faces) and Sarah & Bridget Rock. I used them when I got married the first time and my sister just used them for her wedding. FM me if you need their info! They're amazing to say the least :)

or roseanna amador for hair?

they both travel- there might be fees for it being a little east but Im pretty sure they will go there

both are wonderful!

Its actually two girls
Both also do make up

I need the info too!! It's so hard to find someone that does both hair and makeup and that's not crazy expensive!

you should call jenn at bliss beautique in port jefferson she is great and she will travel. she is doing my hair and all my bridesmaids for the wedding

Roseanna Amador for hair...she is amazing and will travel on LI.

Rouge NYC for makeup...anne or charles...they are both outta this world and will travel as well!

Almost all makup/hair artists travel to you on your day...check the Brides' Review bd and see who past brides have used and their reviews of them :) I used Oksana and she was great...all our makeup stayed on all day and she was so sweet to work with.

So glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue!

It seems like whenever I have my makeup done I hate it! And truthfully hair and makeup can be so expensive, so if i'm going to pay, I want to love it.

I'm actually getting married at a church, so I'd be getting ready at my house.

Thanks everyone for the reccomendations. I will try contacting all. It seems like they book up as quick as photographers and djs!

Ladies, when you figure out who you're using, let me know!

BTW, we just booked our limos today

I'm using Sandra Baldini as a MU artist, I booked her on the spot, loved the way she did my MU, plus her personality is awesome. She travels to u the day of.

I have an app. with Jen the hair genie next week. I've heard excellent reviews and I believe she also travels to you.

I used Mya - Cosmetic Artistry. She does hair and make up and travels to you. She did hair and make up for my entire BP. Her work is fabulous and she is a total pleasure to work with! She's a vendor on here if you wanna look her up!

I'm using the Make-Up Studio in Babylon and they will travel to you. Margaret the woman I'm using lives out east and has no problem going to those places.

I second Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup. She's a doll and does a fabulous job! She does book up quick though. If you have a large wedding party she does have an assistant that works with her for the day of the wedding if needed. As someone else said, she does travel to you for the day of.

I'm going to Salon Sevens Brides Night Out this Monday night in Deer Park... everything i've seen on their website and facebook I've liked, and theyre doing hair and makeup trials free that night so if mine is good I'll be booking with them! If you need some ideas you guys should go that night too! All the girls can do on location weddings
