Hair and Makeup in Westchester/White Plains

Looking for recommendations for hair and makeup in the Westchester/White Plains area. Preferably someone who will travel to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Brides Bliss is booked. Thank you!

I suggest talking to the cosmetic manager in either Bloomingdales or Nordstrom and ask who does wedding makeup. You can have a trial in the store and if you like it you can book for the wedding. For hair, my friend Jen works at Salon Maffei right on Mamaroneck Ave. (right up the street from the hotel) I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding, but she couldn't get off on a Saturday and I'll be getting ready in LI. My FSIL for her 9/4 wedding in Westchester is using:

Cherylyn Salon Spa & Wellness Center
for Hair/Makeup - 914-997-0323

I can give you a better review after 9/4 since I am a bridesmaid and am getting my hair/makeup there too! Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions! Also, NFerrandi and Tanbride, I booked Graziella's for the rehearsal dinner. You guys are a great resource for a girl living in Boston trying to plan a wedding in Westchester! Thanks again!

Tan Bride: How was the Cherylyn Spa in Westchester for the wedding you were in? I'm still looking....I went to Elizabeth Arden in the White Plains Mall and hated my makeup

Joanna does a wonderful job, she was booked for my wedding, but I highly recommend her. If you go to her website my friend Jen is the bride on the bottom right corner.
