hair and makeup?? queens manhattan

Does anyone know of any hair and makeup people that can do trials in Manhattan or Queens?? its always hard for me to make it out to Long Island..... TIA

i did a trial with Fresh Face Forward and they came to my apt in queens! they are a vendor on here.....

christy & co in bayside but they won't let you do a trial until a few months before your wedding

oh, and oksana (for make up) is located in fresh meadows, she's a well known vendor on this site

SPAce Salon in Astoria (near the corner of Ditmars & 31st Street)...Nycki does great work for both hair & make-up

As a non-LI girl, I hear ya! Nothing was more frustrating than getting all these fantastic vendor reccs for people located an hour++++ away. Vent over.

Some fantastic m/u and hair people I encountered were:

Sachiko Yanase - does AMAZING makeup AND hair, and is SO reasonable - she's located in Queens. [email protected]

Stacy Pitt - one of the best hair stylists in NYC, every girl on the NYC knot board has used her or wants to use her! CLICK

The Pedala sisters - amazingly talented. I Only had a trial with Maureen, but wow, she is SO sweet and full of compliments. CLICK

i'd highly recommend Tina from Wedding Box at www.wedding-box.com

She turned my red face into a really beautiful, natural one for our engagement photoshoot. She used to do makeup for magazine shoots and weddings in Taiwan too!
