My MOH has a hairdresser in Jersey that she loves, and she suggested that we use her for makeup and hair. She's willing to travel to the bridal suite and bring a crew with her for all the girls. I want to do a hair and makeup trial with her soon to see if I like her, but I am growing my hair out and it is just shoulder length now. It will be much longer for the wedding. Should I just do a makeup trial now and hair later? Or should I do both now, and just assume that with longer hair she'll be able to do more styles with it? I wouldn't want to book her for makeup and then realize later that I don't want to have her do my hair. That might be wierd, wouldn't it? What should I do? I want to give myself some time in case I need to have trials with other salons.

I did both separately and I kind of wish that I would have had them on the same day. it would have been GREAT to see them both done together. JMO

why don't you go now, have her do both, and then if you like her and book her, go again closer to your wedding date to Iron it out....you'll need to go back anyway, with your veil or head piece to finalize the hair style....
