This morning I called my favorite hair salon to book appointments for me and my girls the day of my wedding, I am getting married August 23, 2008 .. I know definitely three of my girls want to do it, but there are two that are not sure yet because they live about an hour away, so they might just get their hair done by their house. I told this to the wedding coordinator and she told me I had to know exact amounts, couldn't add a few more girls on at a later date, by tomorrow, or else another bride might take my appointments. Is this normal?? I feel like its kind of pushy.

well unfortunately whether we think its pushy or not, seems like the salon will continue to be like this with you and still request for you to let them know how many ASAP...Maybe they do alot of weddings so it might be true.
Have you ever thought of hiring a vendor to come to your house and doing all of your make up and hair. That is what i am doing along with many other brides on here

you'll see the majority of us are doing this. Some of these vendors i would call soon bc they book up quickly...here are some popular LIW MU and hair vendors
oksana for and jenn jacqueline nicole she does make up sarah of rock sisters for hair i am using maureen and claudia pedala Jill Harth make up Nicole d'angio-i think she just does hair, not sure and many more

I recommend Denise Venti! she is amazing! her website is deniseventi.com if interested and I used jacqueline nicole for makeup just as amazing also! 2 very popular people on here good luck!

I recomend Mia from BL (she is doing mine for wedding) or Denise Venti (she does my cut and color!!) and she does awesome wedding hair
