Is everyone mostly having someone come to their home to get their hair done? I feel like it might be easier to go to a salon where they have all their tools and mirrors and stuff. Thoughts?

I'm only having someone come to my house because I'm taking pics before my day ceremony so I'm already short on time and don't want to be running around that morning.

i had the stylist come to my home. it's just much easier. she brings all her equip and i have nothing to worry about.

I am going to the salon for a few reasons: 1) The hair salon I use all the time is right down the street from my parents house. 2) It is SOOOO much cheaper! 3) We can have 3 or 4 people doing the BMs hair at once, so it won't take as long.

I am going to my salon...I know I am going to need to get out of the house that day & just be with my mom & MOH...Plus it was much cheaper to go there then have someone come to the house!!!!

We're going to a salon for hair in the morning and having a M/U lady come to my mom's house later. At first I wanted someone to come to the house, but I think it'll come out better going to a salon where they have all their equipment, the right chair height, mirrors, etc.

Suzanne, I had them come to me, but when I was a BM last year, we all went to the salon (close to the bride's house) - do what's easiest for you. Usually the ones who come to you learn from the trial what to bring and what not to bring so that know what to have the day of.

She has to do it at my home. The woman I'm most likely going with is about an hour away from my house as it is and I'm having a morning wedding so we're really crunched for time. Having her come to us will make life much easier.

i am having mine done at a salon because i think that it will be easier for the person doing the hair and the place i am going to has a great package for brides that includes hair trial, hair the day of, makeup, mini facial, massage, mani and pedi. and i have a lot of time before the wedding (4pm) to get ready so it won't be that bad...

My stylist came to the hotel I was getting ready at. It was easier for me to have him and the makeup artist come to me because of timing.

Same reasons plus I will be going crazy if I have to sit in all day. I wanted to get out and enjoy being with my maids.
