hair color nightmare. please help!!!!!!!
so i am in desperate need of getting my hair colored but have been putting it off because ive had such horrible experiences.
first i found a salon who gave me a BANGIN' color that i loved...only to find out when i went back for touch ups that she lost the card she had written my color on and redyed my hair a gross color that was way too light!!!!
then i tried another salon cause i was so pissed where i spend more money to get something called goldwell color which is supposed to be ammonia free and won't fade out, and gives 100% grey coverage. this would be awesome except i told her i wanted dark brown and she made it look dark brownish inside the salon, but looked PURPLE in the sunlight.
it was so awful that i went back and they re-did it the same day and burned the hell out of my scalp. my forehead was literally peeling and she dripped dye on the edge of my face. seriously, if i wanted to look like i dyed it at home and forgot to frame my face with vaseline, i would have bought a kit for $9.99 in rite aid!!! the dye was literally on my forehead and ears.
anyway my wedding is getting closer and i need to fix my hair and have it redyed.
does anyone know of a salon who uses goldwell color? i live in queens so im looking for someone in bayside/whitestone/middle village...anywhere around there. id even travel a little into nassau. i think dimitris salon in bayside has it but i cannot find reviews on them.
please help!! i dont wanna have purple hair in my wedding photos.
fyi, for those of you who want permanent color, the goldwell truly doesnt fade out, though i wish it would in this one case!!!
thanks for listening!!
