I was in North Carolina visiting my sister and I found a headpeice that I fell in love with. It is a crown. The minute I saw it I knew it was the one for me. My sister picked it up and brought it to NY for me. HEre's my problem. I have been searching for hairstyles and it seems like all the ones with the crown are in a bun. I really did not want a bun. Has anyone seen a bride who wore a crown without a bun? Also is it totally impossible to wear my hair down with a crown? I am wondering if I should get something else.

I saw a bride with a crown and she just had her hair down but curled. It looked really nice

My friend wore a crown, and her hair was up, but in big curls. I suggest talking to your hairdresser and seeing what she/he suggests.

I am having a crown also for my headpiece and Im wearing it up, but in big barrel curls. I had also just seen someone who had a crown, who wore it down, but it was all curled which looked really pretty too.

Thanks for all the advice and suggestions. Does anyone have photos they can post. I would really like to have something to show my hairdresser and, as I mentioned, I am having a hard time finding pictures.

I thought this style was pretty, and I think it would work well with a crown....
