Hi, I just had my first hair trial done and i was curious before i book do all hair stylists make you complete and sign a contract stating that if any one cancels within a time period prior to your wedding, you or the bridesmaid who cancels will still need to pay.
Not sure if this is something that all stylist ask. I cant predict if a girl is going to get sick the morning of, but i will still have to pay for her regardless. I just dont like being locked in like that!

I haven't completed my contract yet, but that sounds pretty normal for me. Wouldn't be fair to the stylist if she kept the day/time open and someone cancelled. Sounds like everything else with wedding contracts, if you promise something you have to pay regardless of what happens,

Good question. I actually don't know if my contract has that listed. I didn't think of that. All my girls in my BP are FSILs (FH's sis. and niece) so I'm assuming, sick or not, they will need to get ready and show up.

The only thing my hair contract states is an approximate number of people getting their hair done, but I only had to leave a deposit for myself to hold the date, and it states that the balance for my hair is due that day. She told me I can adjust the number of people as the day gets closer and she will only need a final number by 1-2 weeks before.

My regular stylist is coming to the house to do my hair, makeup, MOH and Matron OH makeup...no contract.
