Hair Dilema

So i have been going over hair ideas and veil placement in my mind lately. and i have realized that i like the way a veil looks when placed really on top of my head as opposed to the back underneath some hair style. I am getting really tired of having long hair and think that if i want the veil on top of my head it would work better if my hair were shorter, and like half up and a ton of curls.

ANyone have short hair, how did you style it?

Anyone with long hair thinking of chopping it short soon???
