Hair Dilemma

Hair Dilemma

Hey all,

I have a little bit of a problem. I originally wanted something like little hair pins throughout my hair down / half up look, but my parents really don't like that idea they said it makes me look too kid-ish. FH is totally against headband/tiara things. I feel like I am left to having nothing in my hair, just plain. Any advice?

TIA

its your wedding day so do what you want. You should look how you want to look and you have to be the one happy with it.

Everyone is going to have an opinion regardless, do the style that you like and feel most comfortable in....its your wedding day!!!

i didn't want a tiara or headband so I go this...

its small (about 3 inches long) but I thought it added a nice touch w/o being too much

You can't please anyone and it's all about you and what YOU like. So, if you really have your heart set on a tiara- GO FOR IT!

Have they actually seen it on you?!

Yeah my parents I bought little pins to show them and they didn't like it. My fiance and my MOH I showed tiaras and headpieces and they hated all of them. I want to do what I want, but I'm not even sure what I like.

OMG so its your day so if you want to wear a tiara or hair jewerly .. than totally go for it! Trust me the day of your wedding everyone will think you are pretty, no matter what you wear in your hair. I have seen some great hair pins and things like that, they dont like childish at all!

Men don't usually 'get' these kinds of things. He's going to think you look so amazing on your wedding day that he won't even notice a little tiara! And everyone will have their opinions-go with your gut-I think the best way to know is to try it on-look for hair ideas and go for your hair trials-these things work themselves out!!

you do what you want and the lady who will do your hair will also tell you what will look good on you, she would know best.

Thanks everyone. I keep trying to please everyone else for all the wedding stuff. I think I will just explore the different options and pick whatever I think looks best.

I agree you should do whatever makes YOU happy. I am sure you are doing most of the planning so why does this have to be any different. What your parents think may look kid-ish may not seem kid-ish to our generation. You have so many options to explore. You can put a flower in your hair, little diamond esque clips or pins in your hair etc. I think no matter what anyone says you are the one wearing that hairstyle all day long and will be photographed numerous times. I say wear the hair that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable;le. Because you don't want to look back on your wedding day and said i should have done this or that...... or have the 'what if's' Good luck and i am sure you will look gorgeous on your special day!
