hair dilemma with less than 2 weeks to go! **UPDATE AT BOTTOM**
i need advice. i had shorter hair when FH and i got engaged and grew it out for the wedding, like most people. however, my issue is that i had long hair most of my life and NEVER wore it up, NEVER curled it, nothing. not even for prom back in the day. so now, i have this long hair that i hate and i've had a couple of hair trials, none of which i've been overly thrilled with. i live in AZ and won't be back until the wedding, so i'm really not sure what to do. i want to chop my hair off so badly and just go back to having short hair that looked good. i've even had dreams about my wedding day and i've had my short hair in every one. i was in NY this past weekend and had another hair trial and here's one pic from it. this actually isn't what the girl did because i didn't like it, but i messed with it when i got home and liked what i did. then, here's a pic of me with my short hair. should i just stick with the long hair and try to get the girl to do it like in the pic, or should i chop it off?!? please help!!!

You are going to be looking at these pictures for a loooong time so you need to make sure you like the way you look. If you are more comfortable with shorter hair then that's what you should do. With the tiara and veil it's going to look beautiful no matter what.

Keep It!! It really looks beautiful. If you need someone on LI to do your hair Kacey from Kholouds Beauty is great. She is doing my hair. You can look at my hair trial in my album. I hope that I helped you out a little.

they usually say not to do a drastically different look for your wedding day than you do for everyday...so if you normally have short hair...why not have that as a bride if that is how you feel best? There is no rule that brides must have long hair...you look great with the short do!!!! Do what is going to make YOU feel beautiful!!

I agree! You look great with shorter hair & I think you should have it however you feel most comfortable for your wedding.

Couldn't agree more - but one question?? How long before the wedding are you coming home?? If you have at least one day to set an hour or so aside - you can get someone here to do the trial for you - as you like it and see what happens... It couldn't hurt to try? Again? (This coming from a person who has had five trials already...)

Keep your hair!!! I love how it looks and I don't think it's that long at all- it's a nice in between length.

thanks for the input ladies!! i've decided to have another hair trial here in AZ on Thursday and basically, i'm going to try and get the girl to replicate what i did myself. and if i like it, i'll take TONS of pictures and make my girl in NY do that. but i think i will keep it. worse comes to worse, i just brush it out before the wedding but thanks again for all of your opinions!! i'll report back with pics thursday

Your hair is cute short, but I think wedding wise, it looks lovely mid length! However, you have to look at the pics for the rest of your life, and you have to love them!

You look both great ways but I love love love your shorter cut. I can totally relate...My hair has always been about your 'short' length but I had a lot more layers and i LOVED it. My hair looked best like that. But I let it grow out for the wedding and I hate it. I only let it grow out b/c I knew I wanted to wear it up. If I wasn't wearing it up though for the wedding I would definitely chop it off. If you feel more comfortable with your hair shorter...and you like how it looks better that way then I say go for it!!
