hair extensions

hair extensions

has anyone ever had them done-- or know anyone who has had them? Do they ruin your real hair?

I went for a haircut today & my hairdresser said they don't ruin your hair if they are done properly---- Is she full of it? I have always heard they destroy your hair..... Help!

I will be using the clip on kind, they dont ruin your hair. My mom has done bonding & sewing both versions messed up her hair...(she has baby fine hair)

If you get the type that clip in, they dont ruin your hair. You can clip and unclip them whenever you want. if you have highlighted hair, they can dye the extensions to match your color.

I have VERY thin hair and i got extentions before...I went to a girl that was soooo good... I was terrified when i went to take them out bc everyone told me so many horror stories and i was like great i have such thin hair already and now half my hair is gonna get ripped out. Well the girl took her time and took out the extensions extremely carefully...she even said dont worry i promise i wont rip any hair out bc i am good lol...So yeah it is possible to get extensions and not get your hair ripped out but you need someone who will take that time and knows how to take them out well...most of them probably don't have the patience
