Has anyone ever got or knows someone who got the protein bond hair extensions?? Does it really make your hair more thin when you take them out??? Thanks

I haven't had those but I got the clip in extensions for my wedding. It was well worth the price. My hair stylist colored my hair and the extensions to match. So the day of the wedding, it was amazing! I loved them. Plus you spend all that money for them and you can put them in and take them out whenever you want and it does nothing to your hair. My extensions were $289.

Thanks I was going to do the clip ons.. I still may do it.. I want to talk to some hair stylists about it to see if it will make my hair even more thin. I would rather do the ones that stay in for 6 months cause i want them for the summer and the wedding/honeymoon if it is going to really kill my hair then I'm just going to go with the clip ons1 Your hair looked GREAT by the way!!!

It doesnt ruin your hair...The problem is that when they take them out they rip half your hair out...Ive had extensions twice and neither times did ANY of my hair get ripped or was there a difference afterwards. The problem is that you have to really take time to take those out, otherwise if a hair dresser doesnt then your hair will get ripped out.
The protein bonds actually are supposed to even help your hair.
BTW just so you know the protein bond extensions are pretty expensive, be expected to pay a couple thousand dollars...Well extensions that are bonded are all usually over $1000..some places you can find for about $600-1000

I just had great lengths from a girl who works in her basement. my hair came out amazing, and it was only around $800.

My friend had these put in her hair and it didnt kill her hair at all...she just had very little of it left because she ripped them out herself which is a really bad idea. A stylist should slowly and carefully take them out or have someone help you when its time to take them out.
