Hair Extensions

I will be getting them for the wedding. anyone else? If so, do you know where you will get them done?

i don't on planning on getting them, i am gong to start growing my hair out in january and only get trims to get the dead ends off

most likely i will be getting them, my hair is a decent length but its doesn't have too much volume and i want my hair to have volume for my wedding day. I hope to be getting them from where i get my hair done for the day of

i dont think i will ever get extensions put in.. when its time to take them out ur hair breaks off..i dont care what the salon tells u lol. my hair looks like i have extensions from all the bleaching that was done(every 3 weeks for 6 yrs)..so the back of my hair is choppy and shot and parts are long..but its still fly lol

i do my own extensions i sew them myself on clips .. but i wont be wearing them for the wedding

most girls on here used the clip on extensions for day of and you can take it out yourself that night. I had long hair but my hair is so thin that i needed volume. My hair stylist that came to my house the day of and provided the hair and put them in. The clip on extensions were also the same length as my hair so again it was just for volume. It was great and what i would recommend over getting extensions bonded or sewn in at a salon. Ive had real extensions before and it takes forever to blow dry, i didnt want to deal with that on my honeymoon.

I do recommend to anyone wanting to get the clip on extensions to make sure its real hair bc if its not then the extensions part will start straightening if you curl it, it doesnt really hold a curl well.

BUT i do have to say that SOME hair stylists can also take out real extensions without breaking your hair. Ive had it done twice and both times absolutely NO hair was ripped out of my hair. WHen i expressed concern about this to this hair stylist, she said that she can guarantee that she wont even rip one hair out. I do have to say that she was so careful and took her time to take it out very slowly. I have very thin hair to begin with so really couldn't afford to lose any hair hahaha, but i was shocked that it didnt break

who is ur hair stylist? its def not something i would risk.. i mean chunks of my hair are broken off from bleach . but putting them in carefuly and properly is just as important as taking them out lol..

im sticking with clip ons.. i told fh that its human hair and he yelled at me lol 'ur guna get lice u effin dirtbag!!' hahaha it was hilarious

stylist for the wedding or regular stylist? well like i said before, for the wedding i did clip on extensions so it was ok. The 2 times i got real extensions was a salon on austin street, it wasnt my regular stylist. They always told me how it rips the hair out when they take it out so i knew they'd rip it out so i went to a hair salon that basically specializes in extensions and mostly what she does, she does more extensions than she does regular styles. Its salon niquel. Ill say i was so nervous when she took it out and afraid of what will happen to my hair, but she honestly didnt rip any hair out. IF you have damaged hair from bleach then i'd stay away from extensions like you said

The clip ons are perfect for the wedding, i loved mine and it was great bc i was able to take it off next day and not deal with it for the HM

yea i bought a few packs of hair and i sew them on myself.. and i curl them when i curl my real hair..its fun cuz i go purple and blonde hair so i can take them off when im at work and rock them when i go out lol

i was thinking of getting them done just because i want my hair to look full and curly.i have a friend of mine that will be doing them, she makes house calls so it will be sooo much easier. if u want i will get her store name and number and pass it on to u. i will also get u the name of her store. u can fm me if u want.
