Anybody know anything about them? I am thinking of leaving my hair strait with a headband and I want to have extensions. I wasn't sure when to have them put in, can you wash your hair with them? and how much they cost. I would want to do a trial and dont want to spend tons of money.

hair extensions are usually sewn in (they can be clipped in as well but those dont last as long and you run the risk of them falling out during the day).... you can wash your hair with them, they usually last for a few weeks i believe and costs $500 and up

i used clip in ones for my prom, since there were cheaper and easier for me to take out that night.... they did stay in the whole night but they were really that comfortable

Great! Thanks! I am not sure what I will do at this point. Curls aren't really staying in my hair so I am thinking about leaving in strait and make it fuller. I dont want a headache all night though

curls dont stay in ur hair? do u curl ur hair urself? either way, get loreal spray for curling irons..spray just a tinnnnnnnny bit to ur hair..ur curls will DEF last.

Well I had a hair trial and the curls looked great for about 3 hours. Then they all took a turn for the worst. My hair was half strait about 4 hours later. I do have pin strait hair and didn't want tons of hairspray. I also should admit I am a toucher. I love to play with my hair and think that has something to do with the curls falling out. I am a mess about my hair and makeup!

ehh doesnt matter. imm a toucher ,too (lol!) and i curl my hair and use that spray... curls even last til the next day but im ocd so i have to wash my hair anyway.
ill do ur hair to show u how easy it is.. obv not for the wedding cuz im not that good.. but ive seen some hair trials girls had...and their curls were atrocious!!!!

i am soo guna give fh a mullet when hes sleeping one of these days.. he refuses to cut his hair in the back.. its not long but its longer than usual and i hate it.

also back to the original post... use clip ins!! especially if you only want them for the wedding day!!! they wont break your hair and if the person knows what they are doing they will stay in... go to a beauty supply store and buy human hair and the clips and make them urself you can save a lot of money that way!!!

I don't know why this has become such a big TO DO for me?!? I have not been worrying about anything all along and now I have totally lost my mind. I have nightmares over the wedding and can't decide on anything. I obviously have huge issues lol

Ok, so I don't know anything about clip in extensions. but I put weave's in my hair all the time..and I love them. they are a great way to give you extra length if you want it and volume. usually about 2 tracks are good. what they do if braid a small braid across the back of your head under hair and then sew in the extra hair. the nice thing about it is that you can easily cut out the hair, all you have to do is cut the knot and it comes out and also its inexpensive. most places that do it charge 20-30 per track plus the cost of the hair. i dont know where you live but there is a store called popcorn in central islip, on the corner of carleton ave and suffolk ave. i got a great package of hair for $27. just an option, something to think about. if you want to know more about it and the place where i get mine done, you can email me, [email protected] and i will send you more info. good luck!

I used clip in hair extensions for day of. I suggest it for the wedding day if you dont plan to keep them in long. I've had real extensions in the past and takes longer to wash and forever to dry and i didnt want to deal with that on my HM so wanted something i could take out right after the wedding. I had 100% human hair clip on extensions, they were great, you wont even feel them and they stay in great. MOST girls on here who had extensions for day of, had clip on extensions. I only saw 1 or 2 girls who did real extensions that stayed in longer. Ive never heard of anyone having problems with it not staying in or any of that.

my hair stylist for day of wedding supplied me with the hair extensions. It's good bc she will also dye the extensions to perfectly match your hair. She takes a sample of your hair about 2 weeks before to match extensions to your hair color.
If you will buy it from a store just bc some hair that is advertised as human hair is mixed with something else. One time i had the extensions sewn in to keep them in longer and the salon sent me to a place to buy the hair and said its human hair, went to the store and even advertised as real hair. Didnt look bad but not WOW great either. And when i had it curled you were able to tell the difference, curls didnt really stay. What ended up happening was that the extensions in the hair straightened right away but my real hair stayed curly so looked real weird and it was at an event this happened lol.
