Hair Extensions
Does anyone have these? I'm highly considering getting some since I've been trying to grow my hair out and nothing is happening! I've even been using Mane and Tail since December!!!Thoughts?

Re: Hair Extensions
have you tried taking any of the supplements that make your hair grow (supposedly...even if they dont work at least you are getting some extra vitamins and minerals...)

Re: Hair Extensions
Are you getting regular trims? I'm pretty sure this helps to grow your hair as well.

Re: Hair Extensions
I will be getting hair extensions for the wedding - not because of the length, but for the body. I have rediculously fine hair that never does anything style wise - so I am going to go with the extensions. I am going to have my hair stylist put them in - I know it is a bit pricier - but I want my hair to be nice and full for a change on my wedding day...

Re: Hair Extensions
Good vitamin, easy on the blowdrying and get a good shampoo that help strenghten your hair. My hair is slowly (realllyyyyyy sllllllooooowwwlllllyyyy) growing out...but it will be long soon I hope!

Are you serious...what kind ruin your hair? The lady I was talking to about it doesn't glue them on, its a kind of tie on technique. She can take them off and move them up.

Same here. I have talked to a bunch of the girls in the salon that use them all the time and love them and have never had any problems with their hair... Uh-oh - now I am nervous...
I'll have to have a chat with my guy (salon owner) the next time I go!

Re: Hair Extensions
Girls, the clip on extensions are fine. Those are safe and awesome to use. I was talking about the permanent extensions that you put for around 6 months (those ruin your hair)!!!!! Trust me on that. Its been about 4 years, and my hair is not the same anymore, after i got those permanent extensions :(

alot of semi permanent extensions will ruin your hair. By tie in im gonna guess you mean sewed in, ive had those too and my hair didnt get ruined but only bc the girl took her precious time taking it out and said while most rip half the hair out she knows how not to, but you cant guarantee it wont happen to you. Bonded ones are harder to take out and more likely i think to get half your hair ripped out.
Ive had real extensions twice and let me say that for HM it was the last thing i wanted, takes forever to wash and blow drying takes even longer, didnt want to deal with that. I used clip on extensions for day with 100% real human hair and it was perfect and didnt have to have it on HM, but i did bring the clip on extensions with me and one night on the HM put them in. I will say that 99% of past brides on this site who had extensions had clip on extensions, i only remember 1 or 2 that got the real extensions
here are some pics of my clip on extensions on day of
