I have the clip in ones that I can take out, style, and put them back in. They are Remy brand...human hair and mine were 90 bucks for a box of 8 pieces, which is plenty! Since they are human hair, you can pick a color close to your own and have them highlighted or dyed to match exactly.

My hair dresser picked them up for me, but I saw the same ones at Sally Beauty Supply in Garden City. They come in a box set. I think they were a little cheaper at Sally. Anyway, I love them!

Re: HAIR EXTENSIONS

Theres a few different ways of wearing hair extensions. Glued, weaved(sewn in), clip in,individual strands can also be bonded to your hair ( usually a keratin/protein type glue) they can be braided in, they have something called micro-rins where strands of hair and your hair get clamped together theres also micro locks that are similiar. Are you looking to wear for a few hours - days- weeks? Are you wanting to do this DIY or looking for a professional- or do you have a handy hair savy friend that can help you with? There are are different types of hair from synthetic, to real hair from China, India, Slavic/russian territories, european all different places to help match your hair type better. Remy hair is usually the best and it means its human hair most liekly you will want this, it can be washed and styled just as your own. If your going DIY route I have been on these 2 forums for a long time and find them extremely helpful:
http://www.diyextensions.net
http://talk.hairextensions101.com/
theres also:
http://talk.hairboutique.com/
http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/
and Ive personally have ordered hair from these sellers and have never been let down:
http://www.yourhairshop.com/ ( kristen is the best very helpful and beautiful might I add)
http://www.manedepot.com/
http://www.wagmanhair.com/web/index.php

I have more but this post is long enough.

Jenn The Hair Genie brought them for me for TWOTY...they are also the clip ins. She did corn rows in my hair and then clipped the extensions in. I have the victoria beckham cut so this was a challenge...they held the entire day/night! I loved them!

Re: HAIR EXTENSIONS

I was looking for clip-ins, I would like to use them for my bridal shower and for nights out with fh....I'd have my hair stylist put them in professionally for the wedding...Ulitmately they would be in for a few hours each time I want to use them.

My hairdresser is getting them for me for the wedding. My hair is SUPER FINE. It holds no body at all. If I like them, I might make it a permanent thing.
