Hair genie and oksana help!

Ok ladies I need contact info and reviews on Jen the hair genie and oksana. Ready..... Go! Lol

Oksana charges $100 for bride & bridesmaids, $50 trial, and has a 3 person minimum

Jenn has a few different packages based on her travel & the amount of people, but she does $120 bride/$80 maids, $50 trial, and also needs at least 3 people.

I don't think I've read a single bad thing about either of these vendors! The only reason I am choosing (as long as tomorrow goes well for trials lol) other vendors is because I do not feel comfortable dictating to my girls they must get their hair/MU done professionally because I am NOT paying for it Their presents will be their dresses and some other little things along the way.

Are you only limited to these two vendors?

Angela Hair Designs does not have a minimum and charges cheaper than Jenn.

I am using Agnes Barnat and she is amazing and also much cheaper than Oskana as well.

ITA! I have read that Oksana does amazing work, but since I am paying for the girls make-up I didn't really have it in the budget to spend $100 each girl. I have read good things about Sandra Baldini as well - I have a trial with her in a few weeks!

Yep, I'm having the same experience with the hair genie... yes, I have plenty of time.... but for me, it's 'on to the next!'

Honestly, I understand that they probably get a ton of emails & phone calls, but if you own your own business (especially in the wedding business) I'd imagine you'd be better about communication. It's such a turn off to me and personally, I wouldn't want to be freaking out closer to my wedding because I can't get in touch with my make up/hair person!

I booked both Jen and Oksana and I can say that they are worth the wait! The thing to keep in mind is to remember that they don't just do weddings- they have other things going on. Sometimes I would send a follow-up email and they would get back to me.

Totally my opinion, but to me they are both amazing vendors and I would keep trying!
