Okay - I am using JN for makeup and she recommended Ciro in Smithtown for hair. I FINALLY got my headpiece/veil (yippeeeee!!), so now I can make hair trial appts. Unfortunately Ciro is not available for my day.
I really want someone to come to my FMIL's house in Carle Place on my wedding day, rather than traveling. Please, please, please make suggestions - I'm in a bit of a panic!! Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated (prices, phone numbers, etc.)...Thanks so much in advance!!!!
PS - If I don't thank you right away it's because I'm at work and I shouldn't even be writing this!

I used a woman named Melissa (631) 951-9080 who came to my house for a $40 fee over the hair styling costs (ranges from $100 up depending on the style, Less for BMs). She was recommended to my by the Carlyle, having done many brides there and the sales managers wedding... Let me know if you have any particular questions, I was really happy with my updo!

Ok, calm down. I had SEVERAl trials if you have followed any of my posts and hated every trial until I found Diana. She is a little expensive (I am afraid to post the amount here because everyone will go nuts on me) But I tried like 5 people and she was the only one who actually looked at my face and features and 'felt' how my hair should look. I was having all types of updos- all by many of the people recommended here- and I looked AWFUL. She really did a great job, will come to your house and is sweet on top of that!!!!
I have to get the number, I am at work and am searching through my pocketbook as I type this. I will post it as soon as I find it if you are interested. Good luck with anyone that you finally use, it will be ok!!! I only found her 2 days ago and my wedding is a week before yours I think

I used the Maximus salon in Westbury. I went to the salon for a trial and the stylist came to me on the day of. It was more $$$ than I thought it would be, but I loved my hair.

William at the Maximus in Merrick is the best around. I have used him 3 times this year and loved every style. He has such imagination. Unfortunately another bride booked him for my wedding day so I am on the hunt too for the the perfect doo.
