Ladies...I need your help! I don't think I want an up do for my wedding. I can't find one that I like! I'm thinking about leaving my hair down (but still having it done) I'm wearing a strapless gown. Do you think this is a complete faux pax, especiall cause it's a summer wedding?

i just wrote something like this that's so funny i feel the same way i just don't like the way i look with my hair up the trouble is getting a good stlye so by the end of the night your hair isn't a mess

i'm going strapless and i am wearing my hair down b/c my mom doesn't want it to be too 'severe' and i don't want to have it all poofy and shallacked with hair spray. so i am wearing it half up, like pulling the front hairs and pinning them back (an everyday look) but since my hair is curly, i am having the hairdresser curl it properly so it won't be frizzy. i want it to be romantic. and then my veil will be pinned against the clip in the back. its hard to explain.

you should wear your hair however you are comfortable...I think your hair down with a strapless dress will look great... did u ever thinking of putting half of it up and then curling it and having all the curls hang down? I have a pic in my head and I am trying to expln it... hope this helps

EverythingBridalForYou.com some of the stuff is cheesey, but others stuff is nice. i went to scrapbook of ideas under wedding planning and they have links for hair and makeup. someone on another thread found this and its great.

I dont know if this helps but when I went to silver fox, the dvd they showed me had a summer bride getting married at GIHC - she had her hair straight and down with a thin tiara-head band thing on .. It looked pretty good... even at the end of the night
