Hair Help

Hair Help

Ok, so I posted a few weeks ago about wanting to 'go brown'. My coworker brought me in the cover of Glamour (Mischa Barton) because she LOVES the hair color, cut, etc. My question is this... do you think that I could get some sort of process that would give me this wave or would I have to set it every damn day?

I would be careful with the body wave...
Sometimes it gets sooo curly but it can work and it can give your hair some body to do the waves

Be careful with the 'body wave'. I wanted one to put some life in my hair. The curlers they use for that are just too small. I looked like an Asian Don King.

The color you posted is beautiful- I think it would work well on you.

That's what I'm afraid of

Does anyone know of a process that makes it look like that permanently?

It looks like the hairstyle itself is kind of layered. Perhaps if you got long layers cut into it and finger styled it when you blow dry it in the morning? I don't know. I would definitely stay away from the whole body wave thing. You have beautiful hair and if it doesn't turn out the way you want it, it could be tragic! (Well, not tragic, unfortunate).

I think long layers would also make your hair have more body. I think angles starting at your chin would look great, with long angles throughout. And a color change is always fun! Good luck and post pics after!

Wow, really, you think that just adding layers would get me somewhat close to that? That's very exciting!!

I agree that cutting some that layers would totally give your hair more 'body' and help to give you that look ... and they after cutting the layers you can play around to get the desired effect

I would be a bit reluctant to do an actualy body wave. Your hair is so beautiful and to do too many process (body wave, color, etc) might be too drastic

Eileen I think that color would look GOREGOUS on you though... I can totally picture you with that, you will look stunning with that shade.

I need to butt in for a second ... I have long layers & angles and it does nothing as far as adding body and I don't even have pin straight hair

I doubt you would get the body Mischa has, but she probably had tons of stylists and rollers! But, the layers help a bit. I don't promise miracles! If they do the end with a razor edge it flares out a bit which is cute.

definitely! and I'm almost positive that those are extensions too, her hair's not that long. But, I was just trying to get the affect. Doesn't look like it's possible I guess

But, the color's good, right?
