Hair Help

Hi, I need some help. I went for my hair trial today. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either.

My problem is I have really thick, pin straight hair (japanese straightened) to just under my shoulder blades. My updo was so heavy, it hurt after 5 minutes and I felt like it stuck out 3 feet behind my head.

I don't want to wear it down because it won't hold a curl and it will be pin straight. Does anybody have any ideas or pics what I can do with my ridiculously thick hair???

What about half up.... even though your hair is straight i think it will still look good.... curls are used too much for weddings... I think it will look like you if your hair is straight anyway.
