Okay...so I have short hair. Even if I start growing my hair right now it wont be long enough for an updo come wedding day. The problem is that I am having problems finding ANY styles for short hair. Any suggestions?
If you can't find a style for short hair, have you thought about extensions??

You look beautiful in your dress. You hair isn't that short. It'll probably grown a few inches, you have nearly a year after all. There are probably some updo styles you might be able to do.

I actually like my short hair (though I need to get it cut) It's a bob so its shorter than it looks in the pic. As for extensions...I am really not into that.

well they have clip on extensions just to use for that one day, you dont have to get it sewn in or bonded in...but if you want to keep it short how about finger waves

first off, u look beautiful in your dress. second..i think if you grow your hair for the next year it will definately be long enough to put up. my hair was that length when my sister got engaged. so i grew it for a whole year and it was long enough to put up!

Are you set on having your hair up? I saw some really great short hair styles on here a while ago (I didnt save them since my hair is longer) but they were like the 20s or 40s glamour type styles with finger waves, etc. Not sure if that's your style.
Another option is maybe to use some hair clips to help keep your hair up and do a sleek updo?
you can also try extensions if you really wish you had more hair...
talk to a stylist?

I dont really want to put it 'up'. I was sort of thinking finger waves with a nice pin or headband

I agree, when I got engaged in May my hair was that short and I havent really cut it except for trims and its almost to the middle of my back. You can grow it and if you need a bit more they can put wiglets in to give you more umph!!!
